Are you interested in joining this project, or have already joined it and want to know which tasks you must do throughout the year to get the badge?
The process is very simple:
NEW TASKS
1. Fill in the adherence documents
Once the documents have been completed and signed, you can upload them to the platform or send them to turisme@vallesoriental.cat and we will upload them ourselves.
2. Attend training courses 1 and 2 held in the spring
In these training courses we will explain the project in more detail and show you the basics of the platform you will have to use.
Dates of upcoming sessions:
3. Fill in the survey you’ll find on biosphere tourism
You must answer all the questions on the survey, however the adviser will be there to support and guide you every step of the way.
2022 survey status:
4. Receive the two visits from the adviser
In the first visit you’ll go over the survey to resolve any queries and see how best to answer the survey questions.
In the second visit the adviser will check that you have resolved all the issues pointed out during the first visit and will verify that you have a minimum of 3 improvement actions for the next year.
2022 visits:
5. Attend the Destination Workshop
In this workshop you will learn key concepts for understanding sustainability, which you can implement in your business. You will also meet other people working in the area who are also committed to Sustainability.
Dates of upcoming sessions:
Got everything?
The Sustainability Board will assess the work carried out throughout the year in November, after which the Responsible Tourism Institute will approve your adherence.
If everything is approved, we’ll give you your badges at the beginning of 2023.
