Circuit de Catalunya, which was inaugurated in 1991 in Montmeló, has consolidated its status as one of the most modern facilities in the world hosting Formula 1 and motorcycling. The Circuit meets all needed requirements to celebrate the most important competitions in the motor world, such as Marlboro Spanish F1 Grand Prix and Catalonia MotoGP, which counts towards the World Championship.

The Circuit’s total surface measures 120 hectares, the paddock measures 42,000 m2, and it also has different courses: Grand Prix Circuit, which is 4,727 metres long, National Circuit, 3,067m, and the School Circuit, 1,703m.

Apart from hosting great sporting F1 and Motorcycling events, the Circuit is a multifunctional space where different kinds of activities are performed. RACC-Renault Vehicle School offers driving lessons for a variety of levels and lengths that are carried out in the paddock. ELF Renault School also offers practical race driving lessons and, depending on the student’s level, he or she will have the opportunity to drive a Formula 1 Renault car either in the Grand Prix Circuit, in the National Circuit or in the School Circuit. The wide versatility of the Circuit’s facilities enables the celebration of completely personalised presentations and conventions. Guided tours are organised for groups, and you can even get married surrounded by the smell of petrol.
