Its history is linked to\u00a0thermal waters<\/strong>\u00a0in the past and especially during Roman times, from which it keeps some interesting remains such as the Roman villa in\u00a0Can Terrers<\/strong>\u00a0which has been declared\u00a0National Cultural Heritage<\/strong>. The town centre was built around a thermal spring, which has waters that boil at\u00a0over 60\u00baC<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Its\u00a0thermal waters<\/strong>\u00a0have been used during centuries, however, it was at the beginning of the twentieth century when the holiday phenomenon caused high demand for this natural heritage and Catalan middle classes chose\u00a0La Garriga<\/strong>\u00a0as a destination.<\/p>\n\n
