Es un municipio abrupto de orografia dif\u00edcil, que a lo largo de la historia desplaz\u00f3 el asentamiento de la poblaci\u00f3n desde el Montmany y Vallc\u00e0rquera hacia el fondo del valle del Congost, ubic\u00e1ndose donde se encuentra ahora. Pocos son los municipios como Figar\u00f3-Montmany que ofrecen la posibilidad de accedir a parajes de gran belleza natural utilizando el tren como transporte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sorprende encontrar tan cerca de Barcelona un municipio de monta\u00f1a, con el n\u00facleo encajado entre dos espacios naturales como s\u00f3n los <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/turismevalles.com\/es\/valles_oriental\/pein-cingles-de-berti\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cingles de Bert\u00ed<\/a><\/strong> y el <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/turismevalles.com\/es\/valles_oriental\/parque-natural-pn-del-montseny\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Parc Natural del Montseny<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La accesibilidad en tren hace de Figar\u00f3-Montmany uno de los municipios m\u00e1s id\u00f3neos para los visitantes que buscan caminar disfrutando en plenitud de la naturaleza y hacerlo de la forma m\u00e1s sostenible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El entorno del valle del Congost, donde se ubica el Figar\u00f3, est\u00e1 incluido en la Reserva de la Biosfera del Montseny. Esta figura de protecci\u00f3n de la Unesco se cre\u00f3 para preservar un territorio donde la actividad humana ha sabido convivir bastante bien con la preservaci\u00f3n del medio natural.
